Opioids - Predictive Analytics Target Who and How to Help

Presented by: Rola Aamar, Clinical Effectiveness Consultant for Behavioral Health at Relias

As families and communities across the country continue to reel from the impact of the opioid epidemic, healthcare providers, payers, first responders, and community members are looking for ways to be proactive in addressing needs of patients using opioids. This session will describe a real-world, efficient population health strategy that relies on predictive modeling to identify members who are at risk. It will also elaborate on the development of an intervention strategy aimed at preventing the worst outcomes such as overdose. You’ll leave with an actionable intervention strategy and tool that can be used to identify those at risk and to intervene for those who need it most.
