VirtualSession red 150x150 Leadership Is Not For Cowards!

Facilitated by: Mike Staver

You, like most people, hear a lot of conflicting information about leadership. You get to see examples of it (or the lack of it) every day. Mike takes complex leadership content and makes it immediately useful, digestible and entertaining. His message is grounded in the belief that leadership is about influence regardless of position, title or power. Companies like Federal Express, Miracle Ear, Mayo Clinic, Allstate and many more have repeatedly invited him to contribute to the development of their leaders. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a master’s in Counseling Psychology, and is a Certified Speaking Professional. He has conducted industry-specific research on the traits that make leaders thrive and has authored Leadership Isn’t for Cowards. Join us – if you dare – for this one-of-a-kind session for aspiring, new and seasoned leaders.

VirtualSession red 150x150 Planning for the Next Normal

Presented by: Founder & CEO of OpenMinds Monica Oss

As we look ahead to the gradual end of the current crisis period - the public health crisis, the economic crisis, and the political crisis - there are three key strategic questions facing executive teams of behavioral health provider organizations.  First, what will be the lasting impact of these crises on the health and human service landscape? Second, how does my organization's strategy - and our service lines - need to evolve to maintain competitive advantage and sustainability? And finally, how does our executive team transform our organization to make that strategy a reality and thrive in this new environment?

Join Monica for our opening keynote to discuss these key strategic issues. Get an update on the shifts in the behavioral health market landscape - and the changes to the financing and delivery of behavioral health that are likely to endure. In addition, we will discuss best practices in leading transformational strategy; how behavioral health organizations are improving value through best practice management models; and models for accelerating innovation for new service line development.

Innovation In Psychiatry

Presented by: Centerstone of Tennessee Chief Medical Officer Karen H. Rhea, MD, and Genomind’s Russell Amato, PhD

Hear about new strategies for providing actionable data to your clinical staff which can lead to better patient outcomes: the Sage-SR diagnostic screening tool created by Dr. Benjamin Brodey;  pharmacogenomic testing , which is particularly useful in complex patients on multiple medications and in cases that appear treatment-resistant; and, therapeutic drug monitoring, which identifies the medications and other substances the patient is actually taking based on analysis to identify issues of non-adherence, duplication of drug classes by multiple physicians, ingestion of substances of abuse, and the concurrent administration of meds unknown to the psychiatrist. Russell Amato will give an update on the Mental Health Map, which identifies how your genetic predispositions may interact with your environment, lifestyle and experiences. He will interpret the results of this assay for one subject with suggestions of new actions to improve mental wellbeing and five Professional PGx tests  (pharmacogenomics) and five Mental Health Map tests will be given out by Genomind as door prizes.

VirtualSession red 150x150 Attention Pays™: Drive Profitability, Productivity and Accountability

Presented by: Leadership Expert Neen James

To get the results you want in your practice or organization, you need to get attention. But most people don’t know how to get it and keep it. People often see attention as a transaction, something to trade, but it’s much more than that. Neen has identified that people pay attention at three different levels; personal, professional, and global, and she’s designed a powerful methodology that makes it easy to leverage all three.

Neen’s Intentional Attention model helps individuals and organizations be more deliberate about the choices we make and the actions we take. Join us to discover what makes attention valuable and why paying attention in very specific ways drives profitability, productivity, and accountability.

You’ll learn:

  • The three types of attention, Personal, Professional and Global and how to master each
  • Strategies to design work and personal environments for optimal attention and focus especially given the increased demand due to virtual
  • How to turn technology and devices from frustrating distractions to powerful levers
  • A framework to get your team aligned, focused and executing faster than ever
