We are pleased to assist our client, Diversus Health, in its search for a new Chief Operations Officer (COO).
This is a rare opportunity to join one of Colorado's most respected behavioral health organizations at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will oversee enterprise-wide operations and help shape the future of a $47 million nonprofit serving more than 11,000 individuals annually across 11 locations. The successful candidate will bring the vision and operational discipline to translate strategy into measurable outcomes, strengthen organizational performance, lead through complexity and change, and ensure Diversus Health continues to deliver exceptional behavioral health care while expanding its impact throughout the communities it serves.
** To be fully considered, candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications: **
- Deep expertise in behavioral health, community mental health, integrated care, or a similarly complex healthcare environment strongly preferred; executives with demonstrated success leading large, complex nonprofit organizations will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale organizational transformation and navigating complex, rapidly changing environments.
- Proven executive leadership experience overseeing both operational and financial performance within a complex organization.
- Strong systems-thinking capabilities with the ability to connect strategy, operations, finance, technology, and service delivery.
- A track record of translating strategic vision into execution, accountability, and measurable organizational results.
- Experience leading senior executives and building high-performing, mission-driven cultures.
- AI-forward mindset with demonstrated ability to leverage technology, innovation, data, and digital transformation to improve organizational effectiveness and client outcomes.
- Experience partnering with governing boards and executive leadership teams to drive strategic priorities and organizational growth.
- Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, integrated care, or a similarly complex nonprofit environment.
