Details:
- Waived urban experience fee
- Local city sales tax: 10.55%
- Washington State Hotel Tax: 15.7%
- Seattle Tourism Assessment Fee: 2.3% per room, per day
The waived urban experience fee includes:
- A $7 coffee credit towards the hotel’s Expresso Bar at 4th Ave Café for grab-and-go items
- Priority BMW bicycles to explore the city (subject to availability)
- In-room fitness equipment (yoga mats, dumb bells, and resistance bands – please request)
- Up to 30% off select local attraction and entertainment, daily sparkling wine sabering masterclass at 5:00 pm daily, and $50 off a 75-min massage or $50 off facials (at Penelope and the Beauty Bar)
Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your room up to 72 hours before your check-in date to receive a refund of your deposit of your full night’s stay.
Please contact Gena Matthews before cancelling your room(s) so that mhca can retain the room(s) in our Room Block. (see below for more information)

Reservations & Cancellations

1) RESERVATIONS FOR MORE THAN 3 ROOMS
If you want to reserve more than 3 rooms, please send an email to Gena Matthews at gmatthews@mhca.com?Subject=Hotel Assistance (3+) - 2026 Seattle.
2) RESERVATIONS IF ROOM BLOCK IS FULL
If you try to make Hotel Reservations and are told that our block is full and need assistance getting into the hotel, or if you have any problems with the hotel's reservations website, please send an email to Gena Matthews at gmatthews@mhca.com?Subject=Hotel Assistance (Full) - 2026 Seattle.
3) CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel a room reservation, please send an email to Gena at gmatthews@mhca.com?Subject=Room Cancellation - 2026 Seattle rather than cancelling the room yourself with the hotel. The hotel will return all Cancelled rooms to their General Sales block, not to mhca's room block, thus these rooms will be unavailable to other mhca members trying to make reservations. By letting Gena know about the cancellation, she can work with the hotel to make sure your cancelled room(s) are in our block and available to other members.
