Patrick Kennedy will discuss why the healthcare system needs to adapt to better accommodate mental healthcare, the underlying public policy imperatives of parity, why we need to invest in innovation, and his own journey towards mental health and recovery. Telepsychiatry & Integrated Care

Presenters: Innovatel CEO Jonathan Evans and Dr. Liberty Eberly

Primary care physicians provide over half of the mental health treatment in this country and prescribe 80% of psychotropic drugs, all with limited training in the treatment of mental health disorders. The presentation will review data regarding the opportunity for integrated care provided by a telepsychiatry partnership. Data regarding the COMPASS study and new collaborative care codes will be reviewed.
