Casa de los Niños was founded in 1973 to protect children from child abuse and neglect. Since then, it has grown and expanded to provide a variety of innovative prevention and early-intervention programs for children and families including behavioral and mental health treatment services and immediate crisis mediation.

CEO Susie Huhn is respected throughout Arizona and around the country for her extraordinary work with children, families and communities. She is past president of Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, serves as advocacy chair for the Arizona Council of Health and Human Service Providers and is a board member of the National Council for Behavioral Health. She earned her BS in Education from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
