Wanda Figueroa Peralta Succeeds Gayle DiCesare at RiverValley

FigueroaPeraltaWanda 2018 2014 09 12 00 00 00 preview2Wanda Figueroa Peralta Dr. Wanda Figueroa Peralta succeeded RiverValley Behavioral Health's long-time president and CEO Gayle DiCesare, who retired in January after twenty-five years in the position. Wanda most recently served as President and CEO at Aspira of Illinois where she led four schools and a youth development center, created new behavioral health, mentoring and workforce development programs, and secured funding for the successful completion of a $27M capital project. Prior to that, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Association House of Chicago where she oversaw administrative operations and programming of its five departments and over thirty programs, including Integrated Behavioral Health Care (Primary Care, Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Disability services), Child Welfare, Alternative and Adult Education, Community Support Services, and Residential and Group Homes. In her 19 years of service at Association House, she also served as Division Director and Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Programs. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Administration from Northern Illinois University and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
